Amie Burkholder, M.Ed., is a LETRS-trained literacy coach, Orton-Gillingham certified educator, and author of Literacy Unlocked. She helps teachers bring the Science of Reading to life in real classrooms.

Amie Burkholder is a literacy coach, national speaker, and author committed to making the Science of Reading practical for classroom teachers. With over 15 years in education, she has taught first grade, coached K–5 teachers, and supported districts nationwide. Amie is LETRS-trained, Orton-Gillingham certified, and passionate about evidence-based instruction that works for all learners. She’s the founder of Literacy Edventures and creator of the Route2Reading Membership, which offers print-and-go resources, coaching, and professional development. Her debut book, Literacy Unlocked, helps educators build strong literacy foundations using research-backed strategies that are easy to implement and designed for real classrooms.
